Skating, or as it was originally referred to as Sidewalk Surfing first appeared in 1958 as surfers found a way to mimic surfing on land. With a small wooden board and metal rollers, they began to surf the sidewalks. This begun to be a thing for surfers skateboards progressed and skaters understood that they can perform tricks on their boards with first of them as Ollie. It was a way to stand out from the crowd and many tricks followed. Another way to be different was skate stickers. Skaters decorated their skateboards with different kinds of stickers and it was a new trend in the culture. Skateboard stickers evolved and dispersed to many themes, like regular skate stickers, old school skate stickers, rip-grip stickers, surfing stickers.
