Poliwhirl is a Water-type Pokémon with a black and white swirl covering its belly introduced in Generation I. It is a blue, bipedal amphibian Pokémon with a spherical body. It appears to have white gloves on its hands and rounded digit-less feet. Its highly developed muscles allow Poliwhirl to move efficiently on land, but it is even more agile in the water.
